Welcome to the Tactical Airsoft Assault Team "Shock & Awe" web page.
My name is Adam Rodgers and thanks to one of my best friends (Red Wolf) I fell in love with the great sport of airsoft. In fact I loved it so much I shifted the main focus of my business from swords and knives to airsoft. Shortly after the start of the business I told one of my best friends (Red Wolf) I was starting an airsoft team and I wanted him to be second in command of the team.
Since the start of the team back in Jan 2010 we have grown to 10+ team members who train and play as often as possible. We enjoy battling year round as well as in all different types of terrain that are offered in Prescott, AZ and the surrounding area.
As the owner of an airsoft business I also host airsoft events once a month on the last Saturday of each month. Many of my team members and I try to battle every Wednesday.
If you are interested in playing, joining the team, or attending my airsoft events please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Special Thanks to Steve "Wolfsbane" Killgore and Quad Cities Combat Adventures for the following award presented to "Shock & Awe"

"Shock & Awe" Airsoft Field Rules:
1.) The first rule in airsoft is to play with honor. Respect other players. Don’t lie about being hit, call yourself out. Remember without honor airsoft games are pointless & no fun.
2.) SAFETY: Eye protection is REQUIRED at ALL times on the airsoft field. InDrmZ does not require but does recommend having a player’s ears, nose, & mouth covered. All players under the age of 18 are required to wear full face masks covering the mouth, ears, nose, & other soft tissue.
3.) Good Sportsmanship is a must. Don’t complain about losing. Remember to play with honor.
4.) When you are hit with a BB you are not KIA unless it hits you in a KIA zone. “Shock & Awe” KIA zones are stomach, chest, back, neck & head. This includes vests, helmets, pouches, backpacks, & etc. Friendly fire does count, ricochets don’t count. If you are hit in a kill zone you are required to call yourself out & apply your red bandana to show you are out of the game. At this point you should return to the staging area & wait for the game to end. On your way to the staging area please continue to follow the honor code & do not talk to any other players.
5.) If there are any disputes they should be resolved in a sportsman like manner. NO yelling, cursing, insults, or etc. Again I cannot overstate playing the game with honor. Arguments or etc. should be resolved in a mature manner. No hand to hand combat or fights are allowed. They will not be tolerated.
6.) Dead Men Don’t Speak. If you are KIA, you don’t talk to anyone, don’t respond to radio chatter, & follow the proper protocol. If you are wounded call or wait for your medic.
7.) CIVILIANS: If at any time or place civilians show up you are required to immediately display your red bandana, put your weapon on safe, & call out to let other players know the game is over. Depending on the circumstances you should also let the civilian know that there is an airsoft game in play.
8.) When in the staging area (parking area) all airsoft guns should have magazines removed, chambers emptied, and safeties on. WHEN returning to the staging area you should remove the mag from your gun, fire on semi-auto to clear your chamber, AND put your gun on safety. In the event that you battery runs down and there is a mag in the chamber your gun should be placed inside a closed gun case and/or your vehicle, where it is safe from any kind of accidental firing.
9.) When test firing an airsoft gun the user should step OUTSIDE the staging area, look to ensure the firing zone is clear, and loudly call out “Weapon Hot” BEFORE taking the safety off the gun and firing.
10.) When in the field in play the throwing of objects to distract opponents is NOT allowed and will NOT under any circumstances be tolerated.
11.) Distances of Engagement:
A.) For Plinkers (small spring powered handguns) will have a 3 foot “BANG” call out distance (at this range there will be NO intentional head shots).
B.) For GBB, CO2, and AEG’s running 300 FPS or more will have a 15 foot “BANG” call out distance.
C.) For Sniper rifles or anything 450+ FPS will have a 25 foot “BANG” call out distance.
The following are pictures of eye protection that are NOT under any circumstances allowed.
